Barry  S.  Tatar, M.D. is a Board-Certified Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery Foundation. 
He graduated with Honors from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.  
Dr. Tatar completed his General Surgery internship at the University Health Center of Pittsburgh and his Otolaryngology residency at the University of Iowa.

Dr. Tatar treats both adults and children. He specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of the ear, nose, throat and sinuses, functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty,  treatment of sleep apnea and snoring, and surgery of the tonsils and adenoids.

Dr. Tatar performs his surgeries at Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center (Formerly known as Howard County General Hospital).
